March 5

March 5, 2013

After school I had to swing by the grocery store to pick up a few things real quick. Well that real quick trip turned into a lot longer, mainly because of the rain. It was beautiful all day. As I was leaving class it was showing signs of a sprinkle, more of a misting really. But as I'm driving to the grocery store, the flood gates open. I haven't driven in rain like this for quite some time. It was like buckets of water were being dumped on my windshield. At one point as I was driving through an intersection I was just hoping that I came out in the right lane on the other side because I couldn't see the road at all. Anyways, I get to the store safety and decided to sit in my car and wait just a bit to see if the rain would let up any. It didn't, and I eventually ended up running in using my broken umbrella as a shield, but I got this neat picture while I was waiting.

When I finally got back home, groceries in hand, I had to start studying - two midterms on Thursday.
That Minute Maid fruit punch and those carmel/cream bullseye things (plus a few more I chose not to photograph) kept me awake just long enough to finish all my flashcards before I decided to give up and go to bed.

Poor pitiful Killer pretty much begged for attention. I felt so bad I was ignoring her, but I promised we'd play this weekend. While I placed her duck just for this picture, she did  throw it up on the table and in my lap several times pretty much yelling at me to stop studying neuroscience and play with her. So sad. Hopefully all that studying will pay off.
