After work we drove to the Chattahoochee River, which is about a mile from our house. Killer loves it there. She loves the water, the smells, the people, and the other dogs. We recently learned that she'll jump in the water without any prompting from us - something we considered a breakthrough. Last summer Brad spent countless hours with her at the pool trying to make her like the water. All his hard work paid off, because she LOVES it!
We figured out that if we throw a rock into the water she'll run in, stick her entire face into the water (while blowing air bubbles out of her nose), and come back up with a rock (usually not the same one we originally threw, but still...pretty awesome).
We took a nice pleasant walk on the path that goes alongside the river to get Killer dried out before we got back in the car and headed home.
